Remote / Flexible | 3 hours per week | £20 per hour 

Do you love rivers, community stories, and creative communication? Project Ripple Effect is looking for a friendly, organised person to help us share our work online and keep our digital spaces up to date. You’ll create and schedule social media posts, keep our website fresh, and work with team members to tell the stories of the people, places, and rivers we care about. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Create and schedule 2 social media posts each week on Ripple Effect events, river-related and community themes. 
  • Keep our website updated monthly, making sure information is accurate and engaging. 
  • Work with project members to gather stories, photos, and updates to share online. 
  • Write copy for a bi-monthly newsletter 
  • Create e-leaflets for events to advertise on social media and whats app 
  • Help us grow an authentic and inspiring online presence

What We’re Looking For 

  • Someone creative, reliable, and enthusiastic about rivers and environmental projects. 
  • Experience running or creating content for social media pages. 
  • Confidence with basic website updates (WordPress or similar). 
  • Strong writing and communication skills. 
  • Understand issues of citizen science project in rivers 

The Details 

  • 3 hours per week, flexible schedule. 
  • £20 per hour (freelance/contract basis)
  • Work remotely and be part of a small, supportive, and passionate team
  • We have funding for at least a year, and role may continue for longer subject to funding. There will be an initial review at 3 months.
